• Fold: All Document View & Read is designed as a privacy-conscious, local-first PDF and document productivity app. The app helps you create PDFs, scan documents, open files, remove pages, merge PDFs, split PDFs, compress PDFs, convert files, sign documents, protect documents, and export results.
• We do not sell your personal information or document contents. Your files are not used for advertising.

Information You Provide

• Account information: If account features are enabled and you sign in or register, we may process your email address, display name, authentication token, subscription tier, account status, and account deletion requests.
• Support information: If you contact us or report a problem, we receive the email address, screenshots, logs, app details, and message content you choose to send.
• Document files: Documents, images, camera scans, signatures, passwords, and generated files are selected or created by you so the app can perform the feature you requested.

Files and Document Processing

• Core PDF tools and document viewing workflows are designed to run on your device where possible.
• Temporary files may be created for previews, conversions, editing, page thumbnails, image conversion, and generated outputs.
• Generated files may be saved in a user-visible FOLD folder so you can find, share, and delete them.
• Temporary files, generated files, and recent file history can be managed from Settings.
• Document contents, file names, passwords, and signatures are not used for advertising or analytics.

Camera, Photos, Storage, and File Access

• Fold: All Document View & Read requests sensitive permissions only when the permission is needed for a feature you choose.
• Camera is used to scan paper documents and create PDFs from camera captures.
• Photos and media picker access is used when you choose images or media to convert into PDFs or preview inside the app.
• File picker and storage access is used when you choose a PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, TXT, image, or other supported file for viewing, editing, conversion, export, or sharing.
• Older Android storage permission is used only where Android requires it for public Downloads or selected-file access.

Notification Permission

• If enabled, Fold: All Document View & Read uses notifications to provide useful app updates such as processing reminders, feature updates, or important service messages.
• The app explains why notifications are useful before asking for permission. You can decline notification permission and still use the core document tools.

Push Notifications

• Fold: All Document View & Read may use Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications.
• Firebase may create a device registration token and process delivery diagnostics needed to send and troubleshoot notifications.
• Notification data must not include document contents, file names, file paths, passwords, signatures, or raw document data.

Advertising and SDK Data

• Fold: All Document View & Read may use Google Mobile Ads / AdMob to support free access to PDF tools and document features.
• Depending on your consent choices and region, advertising SDKs may process device identifiers, coarse device information, app interaction data, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from network signals.
• If you reject optional personalized ads, the app requests non-personalized ads where supported.

Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Performance Monitoring

• If enabled in Privacy Preferences, Fold: All Document View & Read may use Firebase Analytics and Sentry to improve app quality.
• These services help us understand crashes, non-crash errors, slow screens, app startup time, freezes, affected users, release health, device model, OS version, app version, stack traces, breadcrumbs, navigation history, and general feature performance.
• Analytics and diagnostic events must not include file names, file paths, document text, raw PDF contents, passwords, signatures, or full document data.

How We Use Information

• Provide PDF editing, document scanning, conversion, preview, sharing, and export features.
• Save user preferences such as theme, privacy choices, and recent-file history.
• Improve app stability, performance, and user experience.
• Respond to support requests and problem reports.
• Maintain safety, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
• Show ads or non-personalized ads where permitted by your consent settings.

Third Parties

• Google Mobile Ads / AdMob for advertising and ad measurement.
• Firebase Analytics for optional analytics.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notification delivery.
• Sentry for optional crash reporting, error tracking, performance monitoring, and release health.
• Google Play, Samsung Galaxy Store, Android, and platform services for app distribution, security, updates, downloads, ratings, reviews, and billing if enabled.
• Support, hosting, account, or backend service providers if those services are enabled.
• Legal authorities when required by law.

Data Retention and Deletion

• Local documents and generated files remain on your device until you delete them.
• Temporary files can be cleared from Settings.
• Generated files saved by FOLD can be cleared from Settings.
• Recent file history can be cleared from Settings.
• Privacy preferences can be changed from Settings.
• If account features are enabled, you can request account deletion from Settings. Delete Account removes account access and requests deletion of account-related data.

• We retain support, diagnostics, analytics, and account data only as long as needed for the purpose described in this policy, legal compliance, safety, security, or legitimate support needs.

Security

• We use reasonable technical measures to protect app data and network communication. Where network services are used, they should use HTTPS.
• No app, device, or online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so you should keep backups of important documents.

Children

Fold: All Document View & Read is not intended for children under 13 and should not be used as a child-directed app unless the app, ads, SDKs, privacy disclosures, and store declarations are reviewed for child-directed compliance.

International Users

• If you use Fold: All Document View & Read outside India or the United States, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate.
• You are responsible for using the app in compliance with laws that apply to you.

Policy Changes

• We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes.
• We will update the in-app policy and public policy page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where required by law or app store policy.
